I am so excited to run this event for the fourth time, each time making it even bigger. I started in 2015 with a select crowd of 20 and last year, it was ace to bring together 95 attendees for a lush evening learning about blogging with a drink in hand.

So, I’m back for 2018 and even I’m pinching myself due to how awesome the line-up is! The theme of the evening is around how the very ordinary can do extra-ordinary things – I’ve assembled bloggers, creatives and digital marketeers who have achieved and doing AMAZING things, big audiences, show stopping content but are just everyday people like you and me.

Keynote speakers

All That Is She– well can you believe it? Dominique is coming to a The Culture Vulture event to speak! Dom is a lifestyle blogger and Instagram superstar; she’s brilliant at creating visual content on her social channels and website with that absolutely demands a like; her imagery is so clever, so well thought-out, brilliant, cheekily manipulating perspectives and so so creative. Her Instagram is a channel that I check daily and she’s grown it to 490K followers. It’s not just her visual content though – her blog is amazing too and she works with International mega brands. She writes brilliant, engaging content, the kind you can’t wait to read and enables you to establish a real connection with Dom. She’s so lush and real.

Dom will be sharing her journey so far, sharing some hints and tips and talking about to uplift your Insta and create lush visual content.

Lisa Dawson Styling – so this speaker, is a testament to the power of networking! I was looking for a final, keynote and one the prowl, I mentioned this to fellow blogger Miller Grey and a few introductory emails later, I’d nabbed another gem! Lisa is an interior lifestyle blogger with an Instagram following of 94k+, her blog is an absolute visual delight of interiors, decorating, gardening, interior designer interview s and ideas to make your home your creative kingdom. In 2017, she became a Marie Claire Verified Influencer and part of their Top 30 Power List 2017.

And I’m absolutely delighted she’s coming up further North just for this event. She will be sharing her blogging story whilst focusing on how she uses Instagram stories and how to ensure your social media secures engagement by giving your posts the best chance of success!

Crime Viral– Cheish is one of my favourite people in the world – absolutely hilarious. Cheish is a real all-rounder – PR megababe, events manager and promoter, freelance content writer, social media manager, event reviewer and she’s written a book too!

Tonight, she’ll be talking about her true crime passion project that has grown into an International sensation and growing business; Crime Viral. It’s a community of 150K+, website, blog, online true crime shop and she’s amassed over 15million Facebook video views. She’s absolutely nailed a niche!

My Boys Club - A Lifestyle, Travel & Food Blog– I’m delighted that Deb is coming to speak, she’s become a friend across the last year and when I decided I was going to run this event, I knew I had to have her speaking! Deb is a brilliant Northern family blogger, PR professional and university lecturer – she covers events, happenings, places to visit, food and so much more. I’ve been aware of Deb for some time and she’s quite new (a few years) on to the blogging scene and she’s grown a real name for herself, carved out a voice and grown a large engaged social media audience.

Deb will be sharing her blogging story, how she sticks to only writing about what she loves and maintaining her values whilst blogging, being selective with her paid partnerships alongside sharing some of her wealth of experience in PR, where a blog can fit into a marketing strategy and some of the big clients she currently does work for.
